HER LIFE
Harper is a girl who had a hard time growing up in her hometown. She may have been born there, however unlike everybody else she never felt it was a place she belonged.
After her mother’s passing when Harper was only 10 years old, she had become “That Girl” in her town. The one everybody always looked at with sorry eyes.
Harper is guarded and doesn’t really let anyone in. Growing up she always had to clean up after her friends. She is the one with her head on the right way. She is the one who gets her friends out of trouble and is protective of them all.
When it was time to go to college Harper moved away from Montana to go to Seattle University. While her two best friends stayed home. This caused some hurt between the three friends. But Kenzie (Kenz) and Jennifer (Jenna) knew the reasons behind Harper needing to get away from the Thompson Falls. It was the please she was always treated like “The girl whose mother died”.
Soon into her second year at Seattle University Harper left Seattle to move back home after her father (William) had a heart attack to help look after him. She was heartbroken by her Boyfriend at the time who'd been cheating on her, so moving back home was an easy choice to make.
She continued her studies with the help of Dr Steven Harris who ran the local vet’s practice and he became Harpers Mentor.
Just after Harper Graduated and became Harper Lee Jenkins VDM, her father passed from a fatal heart attack, leaving Harper heartbroken.
Once again it was time for her to move, to "run" from something that was causing her pain.
AND NOW
Harper is working for Dr David Hill, a VDM running a successful practice in Seattle, where Harper was meant to work. But Dr Hill had other ideas for Harper. He’d been running a small clinic in a Native American Reservations 4 hours from Seattle call La Push. And he planned to give the community a standalone practice full time. He asked Harper to move there to help set it up and give the locals the support they needed.
Now Harper lives in a small cottage on the La Push Reservations, running the practice for Dr. Hill, and finding her feet in a new place with new people.
She has no idea how her life is about to be turned upside down by a young man by the name of
Collin Littlesea.
